About the takeover

In August 2019, Safestore and Carlyle European Real Estate formed a joint venture to acquire M3 Self Storage’s six Dutch locations (approximately 25,700 m² of space).Then in March 2022, Safestore acquired full ownership from Carlyle, cementing its position in the Benelux region.
