Moving into storage should be simple. Use this checklist to get everything ready so your move into MijnSafestore goes smoothly.
-
Protect your items
Your goods must be covered while in storage. You can add our StoreProtect cover or provide evidence of your own policy with equivalent protection.
-
Set up payments
SEPA Direct Debit (recommended) keeps payments on time. Your first invoice is payable in advance. We also accept debit/credit card and bank transfer in store.
-
Bring a secure padlock
Your unit must be secured with a sturdy padlock. You can bring your own or purchase one at the store.
-
Identification
Please bring valid photo ID (passport or national ID card). Business customers should also provide Chamber of Commerce (KvK) details and VAT number (if applicable).
-
Emergency contact
Provide an alternative contact name and phone number for use in an emergency.
-
Access & parking
Collect your access pass/code, check opening hours, and confirm loading bay or parking arrangements for move-in day.
-
What you can and can’t store
For safety, do not store perishable goods, flammables, explosives, illegal items or anything that could cause harm. Ask in store if you’re unsure.
-
Move-in essentials
Label boxes clearly and bring dust sheets for protection. Trolleys are available in store; ask your location about trailer availability.
-
Contract basics
Minimum rental period is 2 weeks. You can extend as needed and change unit size after your first week if your needs change.
